Luke Moulton Steps Down From Flippa

Luke Moulton, general manager of Flippa has given in his notice.
According to Luke's blog, he tired of the three hour commute, and the fact that he's not getting to see much of his new baby daughter. He's going to be spending more time on his original business that pre-dates Flippa.
I hope it wasn't something we said.
Actually scratch that. I hope it was. I hope that he's realised from discussions here that he can make a lot more for himself working from the comfort of his home like many of us do. I hope he sees that investing a lot of time, skill and sacrifice into a business is best translated into capital gains rather than another $100 in the pay check. I hope we see a lot more of him here.
If I'm wrong and he's actually looking for a job - you've got my email address, mate!
My personal opinion is that Luke's always been the round peg in a square Flippa hole. He always came across as an honourable, helpful chap and lacking the typically Flippa mentality. His starting posts here were indicative of where his values lay, the high principles he worked to and the decent way he wanted to do things. I suspect he often clashed with others at Flippa and eventually realised that their style didn't suit him. Being an honourable chap, he's unlikely to admit that in public. But kudos to him for all the knocks he took on the chin on behalf of Flippa.
All the very best, Luke. I mean it. And I hope we'll see a lot more of you now that you're one of us rather than one of them
