Stand Out From The Crowd

Some marketplaces don't allow you to list elsewhere as their model involves a success fee and they want no conflict about where the buyer originated. We have no success fee so don't hold you to ransom. You are free to have a "parallel" listing elsewhere. You want the best price for your site. Restricting yourself to one (cluttered) market isn't the best way to go about it, we believe.

Where there is a fee charged, marketplaces don't offer a refund if you fail to sell. That doesn't seem fair somehow. We have no charge. We put your site in front of real buyers and if you don't sell, no hard feelings. You could still avail yourself of free advice from experts on the forum on how to improve your listing!

It's difficult to attract the right buyers if your high quality site is buried among thousands of cheap reproductions. The only way to get visibility seems to pay exorbitant amounts to get "premium" status or buy other "upsells". To us, the junk websites shouldn't be competing with yours so ... we don't allow them to!

Confidentiality: While the "gameshow" of the public auction format is very entertaining ...sellers, we've found, prefer to do business quietly and without exposing too much of their business for copycats to duplicate. List your site here and the bids/sale price etc., remain confidential between you and the buyer, the way it should be.

Interactions: As you'll see from the high quality of comments in the forum, we don't entertain what we call "fluff". Every Tom, Dick and Harry is not free to post whatever they want in your sale thread as happens elsewhere. Questions, if any, will be polite and professional.

Our suggestion: Before you pay an overpriced fee elsewhere - and give away too much  information in a public thread - give the low-key, direct-to-buyer, free approach a shot first. Our forum is a platform that has allowed people to make useful contacts and do business, but most of it happens behind the scenes via PMs and emails. Millions of dollars of business has already transpired this way, and that's before we started our marketplace!
