    Site Flipping

I own a bunch of aged domain names (mostly dot coms).

Can I get a decent price by forwarding the domains to
affiliate sites and then flipping the domains?

    Any info would be helpful.
    Thanks

Aged domains on their own don't seem to be getting good prices at present, MoneyPlus2000 unless there's something else going for them besides age.

But I don't understand your plan. How does forwarding a domain to an affiliate site increase the domain's value?
Find the right business brokers to maximise the value you extract from your business and improve the chances of selling your business.

    My idea is this...

Take an aged domain name which forwards to a decent affiliate offer.
Sell the domain to new buyer.

Rather than going through the technical hassle of uploading, downloading, etc,
to move a site to the new buyer - the buyer just has to plug his Clickbank affiliate ID
into the forwarded domain and promote his new site.

No technical mumbo jumbo needed. The new owner just has to promote their new domain.
The offer is already proven to convert.

The advantage is that they can always forward it to a new offer anytime in future if they desire.
Or, they can build out a site and add content such as a squeeze page, or blog if they want.

    Seems a lot easier.

I still don't get the value add here. All you're doing is selling a redirected domain? This isn't site flipping - it's domain flipping at most.

If you have an aged domain WITH traffic, I would suggest setting up a lead gen page and capturing at least an email address. Then you could engage the user and build an asset at the same time. Then, at least, you would have an asset you could sell along with your domain.
