Hi Peter, thanks for the advice, I had signed up for the Web builder service at about a fiver a month. Never been able to get on it as it has a bug apparently? It is still not fixed after 3 days so have taken your advice and cancelled it.

As far as the domain side of things I think this will be harder to cancel? as the domain has been assigned to me, is now on whois etc. I dont mind leaving this bit to be honest.

Can I move the domain however to another provider, is it a lot of trouble? and yes the obvious question, who do you recommend I go with. Quite fancy trying to buy up some relavant sites that would be good for Domain Parking? - Also looking to try flipping some sites? and also building up some quality sites of things I really am interested in. I know it is a scatter gun approach but fancy trying everything until I get to know what I am doing - thanks for any help. Richie

Depends. .coms are a pain to move as you have to get an authorisation code and that can take ages. .co.uks are easier as all you need to do is change the IPS tag.

It's very simple to move hosting. You just ask your registrar to change the name servers (or do it yourself if they've given you access). That should work whatever your TLD. To move the domain, see Rich's post. Also bear in mind the 60 day rule.

This site is hosted at Westhost.com. I've had some problems with them in the past, but 9 times out of 10 you can get straight through to a support person on their online chat service and as first line support goes, those chat people are pretty good. Recently we had good reason to talk about them. Someone threatened to take this site down because he didn't like what was being said about his business. He harassed Westhost and even turned up at their premises, but they held fast and refused to be intimidated.

If you're going to have multiple sites, consider going for a reseller package - it should work out cheaper.

    Hi All

Well its been a week since we last spoke, they say a week is a long time in Politics, but a week on the internet, well wow ! ............ so bought 2 more domains, www.redletterday.co and www.yeschef.co I have parked these two at the moment but am working on my other site www.poshfun.com and hope to be live on the net within about 2 weeks. - i think the .co sites are going to be big, what are everyones thoughts?, easier than the .co.uk`s and the .coms ?
