    "Thanks" button and forum newsletter

    Thanks button

It used to be that new members needed to build a certain post count before they had access to the "thanks" button. (That's the green "thumbs up" symbol at the bottom of each post.) We've done away with this post count requirement now, so every member can use the "thanks" button from the start. We understood that you might wish to thank others for their help and not have the means to do so before. And we don't allow posts which just say "thanks", because of the no-fluff rule. If someone has helped you, then please feel free to hit that thanks button.

    Forum opt-in newsletter

The newsletter is opt-in and therefore you have to sign up if you want it. You can do so here:
    http://experienced-people.net/forums...read.php/11445

It's FREE! so you have nothing to lose and you can unsubscribe at any time. The newsletter consists of any admin news we might have, a summary of some recent topics on EP which might interest you, plus a short news round-up of interesting stuff from around the Web. The next one will be going out later today (with any luck) or tomorrow. You won't receive it unless you're signed up for it, so please sign up now if you want it.
