I found a guy selling aged sites the other day, said site was 8 years old. Looked on whois and it shows registered January 2nd 2010. I inform seller that site is only 6 months old and that whois shows this and he says:
apparently this tool searches the waybackmachine for first sign of site. and entering in his domain showed 8 years old. Even if the domain was never dropped and did show a 2002 date and was 8 years old, it was obvious that this site had been up for 3 months at the most.http://www.webconfs.com/domain-age.php
chk with this.It will tell you the age of the domain.Whoiz will tell you when the last tym the domain is registered not the entire age of the domain
So reg date new, site new, not old site or old domain.
So...do you consider domain age and site age into your value of a website you are buying? What about yours that you are selling?
