Any good / bad experiences with affliate marketplaces

I'm looking at various marketplaces right now and wondering if anyone endorses/avoids certain marketplaces. Some of these vendors provide turnkey/branded sites for you to host, is there any reason to avoid these?

    Nope

EDIT: I've used Clickbank and Commission Junction mainly.

I don't know as I've never used one. I tend to put affiliate products on existing sites that are sometimes built on Wordpress and sometimes hand coded using a free template.

    Hi Darren,

A lot depends on what you are looking to sell. For hard goods, I like Sharasale and Linkshare. Commission Junction is popular but I cannot seem to make a sale via them to save my life. I don't know why. I've sent decent traffic numbers - not great but enough to gauge things - to several merchants there with absolutely no sales at all.

For digital products the field is crowded. Clickbank is at the top but RAPbank is up and coming and eJunkie. But there are a lot more and others enter every day. I almost think you could make a living just uploading digital products to various marketplaces.

I hate CJ so much I even built a site about them.

I do fairly well with Affiliate Window. I guess that's because they have the best merchants for my niches. Affiliate Future is pretty good too. Trade Doubler is OK. For me the others are also-rans.
