So I once inspected a copy of "Ralph McTell's book "100 songs you can sing" or whatever it was called in a London bookshop, and found it had no chords on any of the songs to guide aspiring buskers. A couple of weeks after that I was given tickets to watch a performance by Mr McTell at the BBC, (and an opportunity to discuss the matter).When I mentioned the business he was bemused, had a hard think about it then said he had nothing to do with the contents of the book, he'd lent his name to it for a small financial consideration. "I can understand that" says I, but it has your picture on it and your name writ large on the front. So I now find it has become a laughing matter-
