I used to be a courier, delivering parcels in the London area. There were certain ways of going to places that the experienced people knew, but you soon learned not to talk about them to newbies because their urge to display knowledge could clutter those roads in a few days. Then the council would block up the "rat run" and you were back in the traffic jam.

Sometimes you only want to share with one person, and sometimes it is the wrong person - you don't find out until the info is everywhere. Too many cooks ...

Just a reminder for those who don't have access to the VIP Lounge - a lot of interesting and exciting stuff is happening there! It's really taken off well. If you don't already have the post count to access the VIP Lounge you might want to start building your post count now (with non-fluff posts, of course).

Lots of stuff happening there and that's just in the last few days. So, build your post count and get in! For the moment the post count required is just 10 (that could change)

As per the post above, the postcount for access to VIP Lounge was temporarily lowered to 10. It was raised back up again subsequently.

Please accept this as notice that it will be nudging up further in the next few months. Nobody who currently has access will lose access (if they continue posting at normal levels).

I am hoping to eventually settle the minimum post count for VIP Lounge access to ...50 posts. There's a lot of good stuff in there and Ken and I have plans for even more top notch material. But it is right to restrict that material to genuine community members rather than those who lurk.

Please remember, it's not just about post count, it's about the quality of posts too ... and mods do monitor that!

Just a reminder that the limit is edging up towards 50. If at any point in the next few months you find you can't access VIP Lounge, please first check that your post count is above 50 (and your account isn't dormant) before contacting an admin to report "a problem".
