    Got a response from another seller who stated :

    <snip>
    Paraphrased: I am concerned about sharing data that is forbidden by Adsense
    </snip>

    So basically saying that because the CPC and CTR are included in the report then it would be breaking the Adsense TOS and he wont do it. I guess that is kind of a legitimate excuse but also means that if a seller wants to say that then any of the above mentioned methods could be denied on this grounds.

    Guess it all comes down to intuition, gut and luck.

    The current auction has a link to his stats, which show the impressions, clicks, CTR, eCPM, and total revenue. Why can he show that, but can't send you the report directly from Google?

    Also, the site looks like a MFA site that Google would love to ban. Even if the revenue claimed is accurate (the screenshots don't look fake to me at first glance, but that's far from definitive proof), it's still somewhat risky in my opinion to assume that you will make your money back from this site, because I don't think there is any potential revenue source besides Adsense that can make anywhere near $50 per month with the site as is.

    Hi benitex, the links to the auction i posted above is not the same person who declined to send me the report. It is the person who i emailed the winner of a previous auction.

    Whilst i have also contacted that seller with a request to send an email report i have yet to hear back from them.

    Oh ok. Thanks for clearing that up. As I said, I don't have a particularly favorable opinion of that site, but I'll be interested to see what others think.

    Yes i mean the site i linked, well its a nothing site, no content yet its claiming to be pulling in $50 a month in adsense. With a buy it now of $250. Presumibly you would buy it then flesh it out with content so you wouldnt get banned from adsense. But it all seems a bit too good to be true.

    Thats why i went to the steps of emailing a previous winner to find out how the claims stacked up. As the sellers previous auctions were very similar, exact match domains, ranking in yahoo and bing, and earning adsense money.

    The previous buyer confirmed what i thought about it being too good to be true.

    Just got an email that the auction i linked too above has ended via buy it now .

    So guess i can wait a month after the whois updates and contact whoever took it over to try and confirm or deny my hunch.

    I don't think you missed out on anything there. It was a good idea to contact one of the seller's past buyers.

    Till you do that to Google's satisfaction you run the risk of your own account getting banned.

    So , I a message to 10 sellers requesting they send an adsense report via email, and aside from the ones i posted here where it was too difficult, and the other where he was concerned it would be sending CPC and CTR data i have only recievied one other reply from a seller saying that he might do it if he gets times (Although this was a few days ago).

    All the rest just didnt bother replying :P
