Yahoo Clues - New Cool Tool From Yahoo

    Yahoo Clues announced here

    Searchengineland says:

The tool allows you to plug in one or two keyword phrases and it then plots the search trends of those keywords on the page. It shows you keyword popularity over time, searches by age and gender, income level, geographic location, “search flow” and related searches.

Might be quite good but, "Currently, only Yahoo! Search information originating from the United States is available". Yawn. It might be more interesting when they go global.

Yahoo is currently in cahoots with Bing - that is the best sample of search data you can get, outside of Google. This is keyword info - global does not matter, only N America and UK, although the language barrier still exists outwith N America. If you interpret that language barrier correctly you can get insights into the UK market and do your own translation ...

I would see it as a potentially useful tool to marry PPV and PPC on sites that allow you to target demographics such as Facebook.

    1) Find affiliate offer, determine demographic that would be interested in that offer (use MSN AdCenter Labs and this tool), create targeted ads based on that demographic.
    2) ???
    3) Profit

    Damn those underpant gnomes!
