I'm from N.Ireland and been browsing the website off and on for sometime now. Very eager to learn to earn online, quite the greenhorn when it comes to anything website investing to make a pound. I bought into a domain ageing business September time, yet to earn anything, but I will get into that in another post in due course,

I don't think anyone has taken offence and, by and large, the mods seem OK with it, even tke71709. My experience with unusual names like this though is that sometimes you start a serious conversation, someone who doesn't know you joins the chat and the discussion gets diverted to talk about your name or make jokes about it. This may work to your disadvantage.

We don't normally do name changes on here as it can be confusing for other members if someone with many posts changes into someone different. Besides, there is no easy way to change the references people make to his name in posts.

But as you haven't accumulated a post history yet, drop me a PM with the new name request and I'll be happy to do the change.

I'm not offended. As far as I'm concerned people can call themselves what they like. I don't think it's a great name for a business forum, though. I'd find it hard to take anyone seriously if they have a name like that.

I undertand the reasoning behind such a name and should have really given it a more detailed insight as to how unprofessional it sounds. I've since asked Clinton to change my name, i think when I see forum names I would usually decline to use my birth name as many posters also use alias ghost style names.

Sure, hardly anyone uses their real names, this forum is quite an exception in that regard. Don't tell anyone but my real name isn't JJMcClure, it's Rich... oh wait, crap, I think they know all ready.
