Is it just me that Flippa is blocking from leaving comments in the blog?

Or is this happening to anyone else?

A few times I emailed support, got dumb answers like "try again".

On Dec 18th I started another support ticket
We're back to the same problem we had before. Comments I'm making are just disappearing. I just tried to post a comment in the latest thread and I can't see it as awaiting moderation. Further, if I try to submit again, I get a message saying I can't submit a duplicate. Did you guys ever look into the problem the last time I submitted it?
Then Luke got involved, took a look, and said that my comments were going into a spam folder for some reason. He said he rectified it.

Today, again, my comment has been blocked and "awaiting moderation". When that happens, typically, my comment doesn't get published. And this one is time sensitive in that it analyses "the last 10 listings".

It's fine if they intend to block me but that doesn't seem to the case. It's annoying when you spend the time typing up a detailed reply and it's just chucked in the bin.

Anyone else being blocked / censored?

I just put a throwaway comment up on the latest blog post and it was published immediately, so it might just be you.

Clinton, we've tried to find a Wordpress whitelist plugin to ensure your comments go through, but we haven't found anything reliable enough as yet. Comments are automatically checked by Akismet - a fairly standard Wordpress spam comment filter. If anyone has any Wordpress whitelist suggestions let me know. As I've mentioned before, you're welcome to contact me directly if this happens and I'll make sure your comments are approved.

Clinton -- you compile sure detailed and wonderful replies that they are almost certainly going to look like automated spam mate ;-) I mean only an automated spam bot can write more than you!

    Barry, yeah, it's probably that!

Thanks, Luke, I see the comment now. I thought you could whitelist stuff in Akismet. I'm not a blog person and don't understand how these things work, but if I've got a spam profile in Flippa there could be other non-spam contributors who are being blocked too.

I thought one would have been able to whitelist email addresses in Akismet too, but unfortunately not. Akismet automatically sets the spam profile too.

Cllinton: I normally find your comments on my blog in the spam folder too, and this is after flagging numerous comments as non-spam. I don't know what it is WP doesn't like about your URL.

Probably the - and the .net

I could see those theoretically setting off spam flags... Total guess on my part though...

Went to Flippa and tried posting a comment with both of those flags in it and it went in the moderation queue as well.

tke71709, I've tried with both this domain and the same in .co.uk and both get binned. It's not the IP because that's clean and doesn't have problems anywhere else. Oh well.
