It looks like Google has begun censoring the autocomplete feature of its toolbar and Google Instant at the request of major entertainment companies.

Many file sharing related queries are impacted, even generic ones like bittorrent, which has many legal uses.

Do you see Google beginning to move their selective enforcement of policies like this into other segments (besides porn, which I hear is already censored), or is this just a one-off move by them to help combat a serious problem online?

To me, this is just the latest example of Google making a subjective decision that impacts their user base negatively when they think it makes business sense to do so, and very hypocritical given the enormous amount of copyrighted content illegally posted to Google owned YouTube, which they make little effort to police.
