The most lucrative deals with drop shippers involve finding companies who don't currently drop ship. You aren't competing with other affiliates and can strike very profitable bargains. How to find such merchants in your niche would make for an interesting article.finding drop shippers to work with
There are the big boys like Amazon who dropship but use their own carts and at the other end you have affiliates who take payment via Paypal and manually fill in a form to send to their dropshipping partner.
One of the limitations with dropshippers that's a constant source of frustration is inability to ship internationally. So you have to either serve different pages to visitors based on their IP or risk "wasting" a lot of orders.

I've had limited experience with dropshippers and for us the biggest problem was the profit margins were too low to make it worth doing, especially after Paypal had taken their cut on the more expensive items. In fact I'm two minds about selling the site, it has good rankings for it's core phrases but people are hitting it, seeing the prices and leaving....
Luke, you're not planning an ebook on this, are you?![]()
I notice that there are several ebooks around on the subject (many with the usual long sales page offering lots of bonuses for ordering today). On a different topic, this drop shipping info site may be for sale.
lol... I wrote a very popular ebook on dropshipping? I wonder if you can find it!? Any guesses!?
Nope, can't find it. Want to tell us what it is...or provide some extracts?
Yes I'd quite like to see that too.
Yes, the two DSS ( http://www.dropshippingsucks.com and http://www.dropshipscam.com ) - kudos. They were (together) two very successful sites; and continue to be do to their top rankings on Google under industry terms. But, they are no longer mine -- however, the buyer hasn't done anything they were supposed to in order to grow them -- err! Oh well, they got them for a STEAL and they continue to make ~$200 day in completely passive income. But still, I hate sites "just sitting there".
BTW, Bernard is my middle name. Yuck -- but I wasn't named after the dog, I was named after my uncle.
