    Selling a dropship business

I have a dropship jewelry business. I get a fair amount of traffic and a fair amount of sales. I am not sure what to sell it for yet but I'm ready to sell it for whatever I can get. I don't have any physical inventory, so basically I'd be selling my website, customer list, blog, and facebook page.

Any suggestions about where the best place to sell a dropship business would be?

    Welcome to the site.

What's a fair amount of traffic and sales? Your options are to hire a broker, or to list it yourself, and the revenue, profit, and traffic are major factors in determining what the best choice would be.

    good questions!

I get about 1,500 vists a month. In my first nine months I sold about $23,000 in jewelry. Currently I make a little over $500 a month. It's pretty much hands off. I have bloggers that do affiliate work for me. I have a facebook fan page with over 3,200 fans. I am on the front page of google for several of keywords.

    Thanks!

That's probably too small for a broker, but there would be a number of people interested here. Also, you could list it on your own at any of the sites listed here: http://experienced-people.net/forums...uality-Website

There's a couple of domains that point to it - one of them is momnecklacedesigns.com

    Thanks for the help everyone!

Okay, I just took a peak at my last four months to get a better idea of what I actually made. From January through April, my profit has averaged a little over $700 a month.

I had hoped to be able to really market my site to try and find maybe someone who sells jewelry on Etsy already or a stay at home mom just looking for easy residual income. Or someone who loves jewelry and would love a wholesale account that gives them access to diamonds and gemstone jewelry at cost!

However, I've started a completely different business and at this point, I'm ready to shut down the jewelry business. If I list it on Flippa am I likely to get much? Thanks!

It sounds like you have identified your ideal buyer, but they are very unlikely to be on Flippa. If you're seriously thinking about shutting it down, either list it on Flippa with no reserve and take whatever you get, or solicit offers on other sites, like this one.

However, I am curious why you would shut this site down, given that it is pretty much hands off.

I was afraid my type of buyer wouldn't be on flippa but I think that's what I've decided to do. Looks like over the past year I've made an average of $900 a month so hopefully it will make someone a good business.
The reason I want out is because this was never my day job. I'm looking to semi-retire in July, while I'm still young enough to enjoy life. I'm afraid if I keep it, instead of retiring I'll look to expand and retirement will turn into another job. Instead I want to travel to far off places that don't have an internet connection! I've had a couple of people contact me so far but no offers. I think I will just put it on flippa and hold my breath.
    Thanks!

Good luck with the sale. Please let us know when the you put it up for sale. I'm interested, and there are probably others on here who would consider buying it.
