    Are .co domains worth anything?

Sorry if I've asked this before (no short term memory) but an EP forum search didn't return anything.

Remember there was a flurry of excitement about .co? And I've not heard anything at all about them recently. Was it all just a flash in the pan?

I've got a generic(ish) five letter .co. Might it be worth anything? Have any of you got any? What's the next step? Forget, try to sell, develop, or what?

Only the highest quality one's, ie business.co just sold for $80,000, I think only the super premium one's have resale value at present, I am pretty much undecided about them so ignored them for now.

Thanks. I saw that people were buying new domains in my usual niche and starting websites/blogs/forums almost every day so I took a punt on getting a suitable .co one. It's redirected to my real site. But it doesn't look like this TLD is going anywhere yet. That said, I've not even tried looking for a buyer. I guess I'll just sit on it until or unless someone comes asking me about it.

I think the search is broken I have done a few searches and nothing comes up.

It really depends on if the .co has any type in traffic if it doesn't then it's probably only worth what the keyword is worth.

    Please spell it out.

How can I figure out the type-in traffic and how do I know what the keyword is worth? Maybe I could PM you the URL if you're willing to have a look?

    Pretty please?

Yeah i will check it out for you Kay,
umm type in would show up in your logs. facebook.co/ibm.co/hotel.co/twitter.co etc.. would probably get a lot of type in traffic.

Yeah, type in is the main `value` of the great majority of .co domains. Wouldnt you love to own www.amazon.co and then force your amazon affiliate cookie onto the surfer before auto-redirecting them onto amazon.com ?

Just throw google analytics onto the site to find out how many type ins are occuring.

Considering that Namecheap just cut the cost of these domains in half, there might not be as much demand for .co as registrars originally hoped.
