What's up all. I'm Kyle, 41, married with 1 kid. I'm spent the last 20 years working in the communications business with the likes of Comcast and Verizon holding a few titles mostly as an Business and Systems Analyst.
Since I was a teen, Ive been passionate about computers, primarily programming them. In the 90's that passion began to include the internet. I own and operate a small IT consulting business and have for the last 10 years. I have developed several sites and projects over the years for myself and for clients. I have a good understanding of programming and code some things and outsource others.
I found my way to this resource after doing some research and reading some of the post at Webmasterworld a while back. I cant say which threads here I find the most valuable yet because I have only had the time to read a few but the authors reputation speaks for itself and I'm sure there is good content being provided.
Now that we have covered that ground. My objective is to learn as much as I can about buying and holding revenue generating websites. Ive been looking at this topic for around 13 months and have filtered through a lot of noise. I have never bought a site. I have always built them from the ground up. I have some properties that generate adsense revenue and an ecommerce site that my wife runs and we sell tangible products that we inventory (non dropship).
I am a realist, I expect to work hard, I expect scammers, I expect false promises and hype. I also know success is possible.
Im seeking the help of this community and am looking forward to providing any value that I can in return.
