    Cloud Factories - Y, right ...

Following on from the great tradition of British trades, such as rathole bunger-uppers and black pudding miners, I present a brief study of cloud factories:

    www.ecologicalarchitects.com

Sometimes I just have to express my ideas - but how does one market this sort of thing without giving the game away to the buyer? Can I make money from it? Will people be induced to buy things (face it, if people will follow the advice of a stuffed mongoose with a fake Russian accent, it is a possibility)?

Should I seek professional help? If so, do I need a site designer or a doctor?

I love it, I have no idea how you could make money from it.
To get it out to the world why not do a small stumbleupon campaign (I would say specifically for the english users) if they pick up on it ya never know.

Sell bits of cloud in a can.

People have paid for canned sea air in the past, why not a piece of cloud?

In a bottle would be even better - they could see their cloud!

One B&H should be good for at least a few hundred clouds.

The funny thing is that it's not too far from the truth. Many of my friends in college worked for cloud seeding companies while going to school. They were pilots desperate for flight hours. The idea behind cloud seeding is you fly into clouds and release chemicals in order to cause rain or prevent hail for farmers.

Actually, there's a couple of funny things as a consequence of putting this site up.

    1) The domain I caught as a PR3, the rank was reduced to PR0 in the recent review. When I put the site up, in less than a day the rank was restored to PR3.

    2) Google for cloud factories and the site is nowhere in the first ten pages - but this thread is on the first page of the search!

There may be spiders hiding around here...

Hilarious! Like Grynge, I'm a bit stuck for ideas about how to make money out of it. It could be a good way to showcase your ability to write good satire, though. Good luck with it!

It's quite a commonplace phrase, around King's Lynn - see http://justintuijl.com/kipperfamily/...imeimmoral.php , and Chris Sugden (aka Sid Kipper) in Wikipedia
