    Can anyone help with appraisal?

Hello. The stampavie (dot com) site may be for sale by the owner and I am looking for help with valuing. What information do I need to consider?

It has about 300 pages indexed in Google but ranking is not so good. There are many regular contributors. There are $1000+ profit every month.

Anything else I need? How much is a good price?

Do you know how much of work is involved in maintaining the site?

You sent me the info by email, but that defeats the point of this forum

You say it takes about 2-3 hours per week to run this site. I'll let members come up with some thoughts and suggestions for you.

How is the revenue generated exactly? What are the costs being declared? Where is the traffic coming from, how is it generated? Personally I can't make head and tail of that site but that doesn't mean it's got no value.

It's a hobby site. There is not a lot of information on the home page but if you see the posts in the blogs you should get an idea of what this site is about.

The money is made from drop shipping photopolymer stamps for the paper crafts industry. The traffic comes from search engines, links, other blogs, craft sites etc. I know nothing about the industry which I have to learn but I know HTML and web design and SEO. The profit is about $3000 monthly.

Also look if the earnings history is long and solid. I mean if its only been getting it for a couple of months, I'd tread very lightly

It's difficult to put an exact value to things like this but if it's making $3K per month I'd offer her $40K. My figure is based on the fact that there seems to be a lot of reliance on third parties to continue providing good content. If that wasn't a constraint I'd have suggested $60K or more.
