Yes, it's his strap line and he wants to keep it. I'm not sure about it since it's very specific and the actual program is about general weight loss.

    Definitely part of the plan.

Yes, a number of them and the current iteration of the concept and the placement fo the various page elements is based on a some of the more successful ones. I've tried to emulate what I know is working for other people combined with implementing your advice.

Sounds like a fun project actually albeit a little challenging.
No, I tried to get him to nail a very specific target demographic but this product works for anyone so I had to come up with something failry generic, hence the male AND female images in the header and the general neutrality of the design.

Challenging... yes! Especially as I've never done this before.

I think you're absolutely right to be not sure about it if it is general weight loss.

I suppose with networking and joint ventures he can go that route. If he wanted to dominate the SERPs though it could take a good deal of effort I'd think. PPC costs are high for the general 'weight loss' market so the campaign would need to be closely monitored unless he's got very deep pockets.

Challenging... yes! Especially as I've never done this before.
I'd be documenting any suggestions you make that he doesn't approve just to help with the post implementation review and possible alternative strategies to test.

Ok, thanks. You've really helped me get to this stage. Next step is to get the technology up and running, I'm going to use Joomla, Amember and Aweber and then we're going to start plugging content in and planning for the prelaunch.

I haven't used Joomla or Amember. AWeber I know about so if you need any help just sing out.
