I have a client who wants to buy a domain off a competitor who just went into liquidation, I'm not sure if doing it privately is the best way so can anyone recommend a reputable domain broker?

If the competitor went into liquidation wouldn't it be the official receiver who'd handle the sale of the competitor's domains? I'd get my accountant or lawyer to contact him rather than a broker.
But any other suggestions anyone? WSYSBroker?
Yeah, I suggest that they contact the administrators since the domain name is a company asset but I'm not sure whether to recommened that they attempt the transaction themselves or use a broker. I thought a broker, who presumably would know what they're doing, would be better than someone who's never done it before?
JJ,
If it is a very high value domain name, then using any third party is recommended (broker, accountant, lawyer, etc). In this instance, I do not think the actual 3rd party profession matters, just as long as it is a third party that has some experience in purchasing valuable assets.
Feel free to PM me and I can guide you in the right direction....perhaps even appraise the domain name for you.
