    Zero Moment of Truth

Hi there guys. Have any of you come across this PDF / site from Google? http://www.zeromomentoftruth.com/

IMHO it is very much worth your while to take the time to download, read and digest the info in the PDF. It had my head swimming with ideas.

For those of you offering services to clients, or those of you who have your own online businesses, there is much food for thought here.

    Excerpts:

Would it surprise you to know that a full 70% of
Americans now say they look at product reviews
    before making a purchase?

Or that 79% of consumers now say they use a smartphone to help with shopping?

Or that 83% of mums say they do online research
after seeing TV commercials for products that
    interest them?

@jamesuk Thank you for the link to this free Google eBook. I moved this thread from Making Money Online, because General & Miscellaneous has other marketing titles, and this post is not to be missed. I should have done this earlier but stopped to read the book It is Marketing 101 G style - great education.

This is the present and evolving future of eCommerce, according to G. The first thing I did was look up the author. Sure it says he is Google's Managing Director of US Sales & Service, but that didn't qualify him to write this, leading G's advertising business nationally and helping people with branding and strategy were the qualifications.

This is a fast 75 short pages. Some of the material has been recent discussions on EP, such as whether a user should be in control of their experience on the web, the movement towards a more mobile web, and how customer problems affect a company.

Sounds like Jim Lecinski would fit right in with this forum
