    Domain finding tools

Has anyone used domain finding tools like the ones here? I'm not talking online tools but software. Any suggestions for a good tool to find unregistered domains based on a batch of news related keywords I feed in everyday?

Never used one but I have just done a quick search on google and found one that claims to be totally free.

    http://www.hostingdude.com/free_doma...e_software.htm

The description says enter keywords and related names to your business and the software will generate multiple options of winning domain names.

Hope this is what your looking for.

Thanks for the link. Was hoping someone could suggest why the program they're using may or may not be good for what I'm planning.

The guys from Market Samurai will be releasing a tool called Name Samurai which will do something similar, however you'll probably have to paste in the keyword list. It's an Adobe Air app too.

Here's a useful article on where and how to find domains. There's also this new Firefox extension (heads up to qualitynonsense's blog)

I know you're looking for software rather than online tools but I find that the bulk registration option at Godaddy does a good job of this.

I put all my keywords in an Excel file, strip out all the spaces and cut and paste the results into the tool and voila all my keywords searched for all the domain extensions.

I do the same thing.....you don't even need to strip out the spaces with the Godaddy bulk tool.

So far the best domain finding tool I've seen is hooperman - if only I could tweak him a bit to get some more output. :-)
