Will Sponsor New Online Community Forum Ventures

I have a bunch of extra vBulletin licenses, and more extra money than extra time, so I was brainstorming what I could do with these resources and here's what I came up with.

I will provide all the software, hosting, domain, and get a forum setup for someone. I want to work with someone who has a great idea for a forum, or even an existing forum if you want to convert to vBulletin, and who has the time to manage and grow the forum. In a nutshell, I'll provide the opportunity to build an online community forum with no cash or technical knowledge, just your time invested.

Is there any catch? Well, the only catch would be that if the forum grows enough to become profitable, I would ask for a share of the revenues. Also, it would be good to see that you've been involved in forums before, and are knowledgable in the topic.

I'll also provide coaching on how to grow your forum, how to recruit members to post, how to market it, etc... These are the areas where it can become time-consuming, so don't bother with it if you know you don't have the time to invest in it. You should plan on putting in at least an hour each day if you really want to make a go of it, I've seen too many new forums never go anywhere because the admin didn't put the time in.

There are some types of forums I won't become involved with, including but not limited to the following:
    - Downloads forums
    - Video forums
    - Gaming forums
    - Webmaster forums
    - SEO forums
    - Paid to click forums
    - Paid to post forums
    - Teen forums
Not any type of forum which targets underage children or involves the discussion of illegal activities (by US Law). Otherwise, I'm game for concepts, and can help you focus your idea into a good concept. You should at the least have a strong interest, if not an authoritative knowledge of the subject.

Send me a PM if you're interested in discussing this further.

I chucked you a PM last night, but I've only just realised how old this topic is. Ah well, if the options still available I look forward to chatting with you
