That's great news, and I appreciate that you acknowledge that it is an issue. That has not always happened in the past. Seeing Matt pop on here and state that Flippa handled Peter's last request well made me think that the support issues and other negative comments were being swept under the rug.

I look forward to seeing the improvements, because if you combine accurate stats with the new search features, that would be something nice.

I'm sure it's not in Flippa's interest to have a seller who causes constant complaints and takes up moderating time. Luke, is there anything in place - or planned - for persistent and flagrant violators?

We have a 3 strikes system in place where by we suspend or ban users who persistently break the rules.

Luke: "Melissa, we identified that people might be using Flippa to effectively buy links so we no-followed the main URL link and also framed the preview page."

Luke, I see a lot of links within the description that lead directly to the site.

These are all nofollowed too Melissa. Try viewing this listing with the SeoQuake Firefox plugin turned on (or just view the source and check the rel="nofollow".

Melissa, you probably know this but if a link is no-followed the search engines are supposed to ignore it and not take it as a "vote" for the destination page.
