In the minority but don't have a mobile, no need for one.

I have a smart phone or something but I've never used it yet. No idea how to. All I wanted was a machine to speak notes into - but I've ended up with this all-singing-dancing thing that lives in my bag and I've never used it. The last thing I want is people phoning me. You wanna talk to me? Then email me.

I'm using a dongle because I'm away from home most of the time at the moment, and I use it on the computer in my warehouse as well. Therefore almost all my accessing of the site will be shown as mobile, although I'm doing it from conventional computers.

If you are in the UK you can use a dongle for completely anonymous stuff. Go to a large supermarket and buy a dongle with cash (about £20), take it outside and get the prepay card out of the box. Go back in the supermarket and put £20 on the prepay card. After you set up the dongle on your computer, use a fresh copy of a portable browser to avoid your own cookies. It's a great way to answer your own questions when you're link building - different IP, different browser.

    Good point, crabfoot!

I'm looking to see how many of our regulars use this site on mobile screens. The idea is that if the number is sufficiently high I could try to improve the experience for them.

(I'm aware that only members can reply to the poll - those are the visitors I'm more concerned about.)

Work from home and when I'm not working I'm happy to be not contactable and everything ticks over, my wife has a mobile if we are out and about but I never bother, nice to be unconnected when I'm out of the house.

Me too. Someone sent me an email today to say he's been trying my mobile for the last two days and hasn't been able to get me. Just two days... and over the weekend to boot!

I did put my mobile on in the middle of last week once to check the time (I don't own a watch).
