Hi there,

Had a look around the site. Nice place you have here.

I'm a Scottish guy living in Australia.

My dream is to make a living as an entrepreneur.

At the moment I work a 9-5 in the IT industry. I feel like a square peg trying to fit in to a round hole there and it's frequently stressful, depressing and brutal for me.

I've been trying and failing to make some successful web business for the past six months.

So far I take around $15 a month in adsense and $5 amazon affiliate revenue monthly.

On the brighter side I have just negotiated my first direct advertising deal where I have sold a 3 month advertising package for $35 and 6 months for $80. The money isn't in the bank yet so we'll see.

I feel that if I could get to $1000 dollars a month I might go full time .... but it seems so hard to get to.

I have a few different sites. Either authority sites or niche products. I plan to build more sites.

I'm looking forward to discussing web business, our hopes and dreams and I'm very open to partnerships to promote mutual business interests.

You mentioned that you use AdSense and also earn affiliate commission from Amazon. Have you also tried affiliate marketing with some merchants other than Amazon? I've found that it's incredibly hard to make money with them because of their short cookie length and relatively low commission levels. Any chance of giving us a clue what kind of niches you're in? Travel, food, IT, education, etc?

Thanks for the welcome! Just back from 12 hours at work.

I've got one site covering IT, one covering travel, one covering health and one product niche. Then a bunch of randoms.

None really doing much right now!

I have tried some affiliates but not made any sales. Amazon isn't great but it does convert. I have noticed I sell things that I don't even advertise after people have gone to the amazon via my site.

Tbh I'm making so little I'm not bothered about optimising that right now.

I have made all my own sites but want to branch out in to buying.
