If I were you, I would contact David via PM at SPF: http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/member.php?16496-dklynn
Check his posts and signature, you'll know he's a bit obsessed with .htaccess stuff.![]()

Thanks ldcdc. I did speak with him and we did do some work together after your post above and his rates were extremely reasonable, but he seems very, very busy at present.
Anybody else here who can provide the (paid) assistance required in the OP?
I'm not really looking for paid work, but if you'd like to provide details of the problems you are having I'll see if I can be of assistance. I won't call myself an expert, but I've done quite a bit of fiddling around with apache configs. I've always put configuration directly in the server config files, since turning on htaccess slows down an Apache server somewhat. Clinton, was unable to PM you as I haven't posted recently so my account went dormant.

Not trying to hijack the thread but there is a decent regex util it uses flash, but I have found it very handy in the past. Though it won't build your conf or htaccess.
Then there came a time, of Kings, Empires and Revolutions, blood just looks the same when you open the vein.

Nice Grynge. I use a program called RegexBuddy that will let me do step by step debugging of my regex's so that I can see what I'm doing wrong.
