    I believe you, but if you start a thread disclosing other such tips it would be useful to new members and they'd quote your thread as the source of their information in any future discussions and they'd be able to use it to judge your expertise in the field.

    Dan Thorley, welcome to experienced-people.net. I see where you came from and suspect you share our interests in website buying/selling. Why don't you start a thread in our welcome section telling us something about yourself?
    I first read about it about 3 years ago, as I know a guy who made $10k in a few days selling articles using this method. It's not something I had ever wanted to get involved in so never thought to talk about it

    If I realised people didn't already know about it, I would have posted it. I'm not a fan of rehashing other people's methods and claiming them as my own so I'll stick to sharing my opinions on topics I know about, regardless of the feedback I get

    When you create a helpful post on here to point out to others where some of the pitfalls are ... people don't see you as the inventor of all those scams. At least, given how much I've written on the topic, that's what I'm hoping!

    grynge, yes, or Notepad++

    Thanks so if you are hiring writers, just watch their first posts for this trick or have them point you to a previous website? Some writers send me text files of their work, so I assume if a google search of that content won't find it elsewhere I need to be cautious they switched characters on another site....

    Copy and paste the content as plain text somewhere (e.g. Notepad) and that should cue you in as to whether they used the trick or not.
