    Free Siteflipping eBook from Flippa

Flippa has been giving away a free siteflipping ebook.

    Flippa.jpg

It shows only if you're not signed in. For those who can't see the above image it says

    Sign Up For FREE!

And get a FREE eBook about Flipping Websites for Profit (valued at $19.99)

If you think there's money in siteflipping then I suppose it makes sense to take this freebie.

Anyone here read it? Or wrote it?

I'm in a generous, Christmas mood today () so here's a direct link to the book. (It can also be accessed from our Deals page)

It was written by Sitepoint in 2007 (before Flippa launched) and re-edited in 2010. It could stand a new edition in 2012; add that to my to-do list!

Ah, that's the PeterTDavis one that's available on the SP site. I've read that already. I thought you had a new one. I guess it's the "valued at $19.99" that confused me.

Anyway, have a fantastic Christmas. May Santa Claus make your to-do list lighter!

You remember that kid that made nearly a million selling a 10 x 10 pixel space on his webpage to people? I've got copies of all those pixels, you can have a randomly selected one for $9.97 including postage and a free SD card to keep it on.

Can't really imagine Peter being flippant in a business context ...

That's too expensive. I'll wait for the after Christmas sales.

I thought I'd sign up to have a look at the free e-Book and also because it's probably about time I joined up on Flippa anyway.

The process seemed simple enough at first, then they insisted that I should confirm my phone number. Eh? I don't have a phone and anyway I'm on holiday travelling around. Why on earth might they want my phone number? Do you you think it might work to borrow someone's phone just to go through the Flippa sign up process?

How bizarre. Why do they need a phone number for me?

Edit - I've got my paws on the e-Book now and I see why they want my phone number. Apparently it gives me a higher trust ranking. Tsk. How stupid is that?

More Menu Madness - it makes you want to ask for the "check please".
