    Commission Autopilot ????

    Hi

OK, call me stupid (Please don't) but since I have started exploring ways of trying to make some extra money online, I have been bombarded with mails of similar nature.

    http://www.ie-recommends.com/commauto/

They all promise to make money, but I am guessing that it will be sign up, buy the product and receive information on how to bombard other people with a get rich quick scheme.

    I hope I'm wrong!

Has anyone ever bought this or a similar system or have any idea what they actually entail?

    Cheers guys

    Hoopsah

These types of products are great... wait, let me be more specific, the sales-pages, sales-videos and marketing of these types of products are great.

I go through the sales-pages of these websites every so often to "brush up" on my marketing skills.

These websites are a great place to learn how to really over-hype and sell a "hope and a dream" to people who still believe that making money online is quick and easy.

It's even more impressive when the product they're offering is almost always:

    (a) never quite explained to you in full (this increases conversions).

    and

    (b) completely useless.

Grab a piece of paper and pen, head to the link you posted and start writing down the things they do to try and sell you on their product...

    1) Show a countdown timer.
    2) No buttons/links in view.
    3) No Order Button (but it should appear, thanks to javascript, when the video in nearly finished).
    4) Try to keep you on the page when you attempt to leave.
    5) ...and so on...

They wouldn't do these things if it didn't increase conversions.

No, I've never bought a system like this or similar; and yes, I know exactly what they entail.

I could be wrong but I am of the opinion that anyone earning $2000 a day isn't going to tell anyone else how to earn it. I used to read all of these things and basically they boil down to here is some common sense, use it and make money. I have the perfect way to make money at everything you do.

    Buy Low
    Sell High
    Rinse and Repeat

You will be amazed at how much you will save yourself if you listen to those three key steps. Oh maybe I should write an e-book lol

Another simple way I find to see the scams is to total their totals, in incomeelites totals all came out wrong that would suggest the screen caps are fake.

Other people might have a better clue of what that is about but personally I wouldn't bother spending my time nor money.
Then there came a time, of Kings, Empires and Revolutions, blood just looks the same when you open the vein.

Thanks guys - so the general consensus seems to be that these are a waste of time and money!

Still trying to find that something that I can do to try and make extra money via a website.

    I suppose the search continues................

I've said it before - we've all said it before - don't buy those things unless you want to learn the sales techniques.

They will all outline a way to make money. They will leave out (as Magnus said) something fundamental - like how to build a website! They also recommend you use their selected products, like domain and web hosting, or software, so they make commission money on the side.

Anyone can learn to put a website together from w3 schools (search for it).
Anyone can buy an old domain to put it on (GoDaddy bargain bin).
Anyone can write stuff to put on that website.
Anyone can learn Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques from a number of websites.

You need to learn why you want to use a pre-owned domain? You also need to be able to select a good one.

That's just a sample of the skills you want before you start putting successful sites together.

One thing many people have to learn is that those products are designed to give you whatever they promise, but in such a way that it will take you a long time to be able to use the information.

Go over to Black Hat World and look at the downloads section. A lot of those products can be had for free. And if you want to give an email address away to those people, I suggest you learn about liquidID.

It's actually worse than that. At least in the past, you'd get one of these products and get some useful information on how to create websites, monetize, get traffic, etc. For the past year or so, though, it's all about spam. They tell people to create junk sites, scrape (steal) content, and spam the internet for links, they create software and WP plugins to do that (which if you go that route, there are a lot better software that at least doesn't hide the fact it's spam). But worst of all, they don't even do a good job at teaching people that, and the software usually sucks.
