Does anyone here have experience of creating sites whose primary content is video clips? I am working on a portfolio site for my younger son, a video editor who went freelance last August. He found a hosting service that provides unlimited storage and claims to provide unlimited bandwidth, for a very reasonable price. I've spent a lot of time trying to learn the ins and outs of streaming video.
The most informative site I've found is exposureroom.com, and it was from them that I discovered Flowplayer for displaying videos. I'm still very much a tyro, testing things until I get something that works, then updating each of the pages of the portfolio site as my son uploads new versions of the material. Technically fascinating, but I am at a disadvantage because I'd like to see how the site works on the smartphones all his potential clients carry around. All I get is what they see on laptops and PCs when they get back to the office.
