For real quality content I tend to go with peopleperhour.com - costs more per article, but the standard of writing is by and large exceptional.

Have used text broker but happy to have a copywriter on board to do 90% of our work. Would consider webcopy to be our secret weapon in achieving high ranks for our websites so its important to get it right.
Now we're cooking with gas (until the next problem?).
I paid ScriptLance again (3rd time lucky) this time using my USD debit card, and the transaction went through without any problems. It was OK for me, but not everyone has a USD debit card so they must be losing a lot of legit business by creating so much hassle about other forms of payment, such as PayPal.
Anyway, I've now got three writers on the project (including grynge's guy). Each are doing two articles for me.
I'll let you know what happens next.
Edit: I forgot to add:
On the subject of doing business with strangers,
Well, we seem to be getting to know each other quite quickly. I sent project details to one of the writers, and he replied signing off with "Lots of love", which was a wee bit of a surprise.Originally Posted by JJMcClure

More Menu Madness - it makes you want to ask for the "check please".
I pay between £15 - £20 for a really good article on PPH (you can pay a lot more if you want to too ;-)).
Two of them actually went viral which I think is a reflection of the higher quality. A lot of writers o there have journalistic experience.

Two of the three writers have already sent me their articles - and I didn't even bother giving them any deadlines. I figured that if they wanted the money, they would submit the work. The articles are quite good. Certainly good enough value for the money. I'll be happy to hire both of these writers again, and I'm still waiting for the third guy.
This was a really good move for me. It's so much better to pass this kind of stuff to someone else rather than having to do it myself. Now I'm a happy camper. As usual, thanks for your help.
