Fair enough but ignore your listing fees at your own peril. I get 2-3 emails per day from investors who have either launched marketplaces or will be launching marketplaces with the sole intent of taking business from Flippa because of their "excessive fees" (their words not mine). I just got 2 emails today of two marketplaces that have launched.

You guys obviously know what you're doing but you should know that it's a common complaint that Flippa's fees are excessive and that a lot of folks are gunning for you

I'm not going to argue with anything you've said, really, as it's all fairly sensible stuff - though I'll note that we've considered our prices pretty carefully and we're happy with them as they are. Rest assured that many of the other feature are on a long list which is just waiting for us to have a spare second!

I keep getting these as well, but do you think any of those sites are run by people/organisations who can take Flippa on?

I had one today from moneymolder.com

I understand that you don't do link exchanges, but I do offer a proposal that will benifit (sic) me and you. We are a new company that supplies adverts for people to sell there (sic) site or an up and coming site that wants investment.

If you could give a brief description telling people to sell there (sic) sites at MoneyMolder. Then we will do the same telling people to come to your site if you have any problems or wont (sic) to make the most out of there (sic) site.

    Yeah, right.

No. None of the emails I get are from people/organizations that stand a chance, to be honest (at least as far as I can tell from the email and the site they direct me to). Flippa has a lot of inertia right now and it would take someone with a deep pocket and a lot of connections to take on Flippa.

Flippa have made a lot of improvements and seem keen to make more so I don't know if it's fair to use "inertia", but Luke will likely coment on that
