Is it just me, or does domain name flipping just seem like a quick way to make a buck (in the way described in the video).

I would think my time would be better spent building online businesses around evergreen niches...

That's why it never caught my interest. It's a never ending cycle, because the instant you sell a domain, you have to find another one to flip if you want to make any more money. I'd rather work to build up more passive streams of income that are less dependent on the ups and downs of a volatile market.

Thanks for the post and link, TrustButVerify. Interesting video and kudos to her, great job! She makes $2,000 a month buying and selling domain names (no ebooks or courses). And she taught herself everything she knew. So for the newbies who come to these forums - it's possible guys.

She uses www.namebio.com to find domain names and sometimes sells a $7 name for several hundred or, in one case, a couple of thousand. OK, they don't tell you how many names never sold and are still on her books, but she seems smart and she keeps records and accounts and tweaks her dealing based and keeps learning what works and what doesn't.

From a trailerpark to her own house with two cars ... was always going to be a nice line for a newspaper/TV channel. Loved the tenuous (?) link with the main news item of the day
