Wow. I have seen Build My Rank recommended on almost every forum out there.

I admire the honesty of this service to process refunds and close up shop due to what has happened.

Was just about to say the same.

It's pretty rare nowadays to see someone being that upfront in this industry. Most likely 9 providers out of 10 wouldn't have said a word and just refunded those who complain quietly. Kudos to BMR.

    LOL

"It had always been BMR’s philosophy that if we did things a bit different from other networks, we would not only have a better quality service to offer our users, but a longer life in this fickle industry."

Fickle? Er... no, Google have never liked artificial link building and you just got away with it for longer than you should have...

Any service that actually gets out their and promotes itself is going to be hit by the SE's. I am not sure if this is the mob I saw advertise on John Chow but as soon as I saw it I thought wow that network isn''t going to last long. Hopefully people only purchased monthly accounts if they purchased a year or something that must really suck.
I got out of bed today staring at a ghost. Who forgot to float away, didnt have all that much to say. Wouldn't even tell me his own name.

What about income that was being generated by pages helped by those links? This has probably cost a few people..

They should build their own network.

Once you have done that successfully, isn't there a temptation to try to make it earn a living on top of what you built it for?

Why risk your hard work for some extra cash? If you have done it successfully you should be earning good money anyway?

They seem to have built networks with the plan of charging people for using them? So their income stream is reliant on SE's not knowing about their network.

regarding reporting a competitor, depending on what you are reporting, your sites better be squeaky clean and not doing anything similar. You may just get your site(s) looked at and put yourself under the microscope.

I have reported hacks (obvious someone hacking into a site and adding links or whatever) and seen them removed relatively quickly.
