Were would you go for little bags printed with a logo?

One way round the problem of trying to get a fulfilment house to use fancy packing would be for us to put goods (espadrilles, berets, etc.,) in a drawstring bag printed with our logo (and up the product price a little to reflect the added value - if 'designer' labels can get people to pay for carrying their advertising, why shouldn't we?). I presume a fulfilment house can be persuaded to 'merge' the goods and the bag before stuffing it into their standard packaging.

Where would Experienced People look for suppliers of such a bag? We'd need about 3,000 a year initially, so is this enough for typical alibaba.com suppliers?

I've done some work with these guys - http://www.fings.net/, and can personally vouch for their honesty and good character etc. Don't know if they do bags though.

You may find it cheaper off-shore (Turkey / Vietnam / etc.), but there may be more hassle / cost initially in getting it right - depends how fussy you are...

Thanks, JJ and Alasdair. I'll contact them both and enquire - neither displays what I want on their site. Fings gets close, but the bags are too big.

no prob - I think that he can get anything sorted - or will point you in the right direction...
key is that he is honest and helpful - and will have a look for no committment...

I've had helpful replies from both. I ended up phoning Paul Cox (fings) because his mail server bounces gmail by default, and also received advice on the fulfilment challenge that I raised on a separate thread. He knows people who have found that a Virtual Assistant is a good solution, but via networks rather than elance, vworker, etc., so I'm chasing that down now. I'll post my progress on the appropriate thread in due course.
