Hello,
Very new here, but thought I might add some tricks that I have used in the past to sell sites on Flippa that seem to work most of the time, or at least add value to what you are trying to sell.
For the most part, I have had success selling "from scratch" sites to include review sites, pure content sites, and niche themed sites, and none of the the sites that I have sold in the past have ever had any profits or sales at all. Mostly the sites have been brand new but I do have a flare for design and a sense for what people want. But to get to the point, I have found that if you add a small video tour of the guts of your site, showing the potential buyer everything you would want to see if you were buying a site, this method tends to show a tad bit more credibility, and professionalism on your part, and also let's the buyer know that you care enough about the site to showcase it to the world.
In fact every time I have taken the time to use this method I have sold the site, and for no less than my asking reserve...

Good tip on the video tour. Thanks!
this was a great starting point for someone like me, thanks
What I would like to see is a guide with some ideas of how to improve a site you have bought to increase traffic and revenue.
If anyone could point me in the right direction.
Good guide its hard to find good flipping info
I hope you don't mind all the questions but I am new and have no experience marketing anything online. If I'm to learn then I must ask questions.
My current circumstances dictate I begin as a Noob/poor man. I have the resources for the domain and hosting but where do I go from there.
Personally I learn best with video. I could spend all day reading something and in the end not know much more than when I began. What video products/resources are avalable that I could acquire to shorten my learning curve.
Questions:
> Write an ebook, write a sales page, buy domain, sell some ebooks, flip the site when sales start to drop. < Is it possible to build a site around some QUALITY PLR material? Are you aware of any material instructing same?
> Where is this Adsense Section? Is it at this forum?
> Buy a Tool and offer it as service?? - Any suggestions? What kind of services are you referring to?
> What Horror stories with PayPal? I though it was the safest way to go.
> DP sites 2 to 3 times revenue for cost I understand, but where do I learn to do my own due diligence? What do I look for and what tools do I need? Probably simple for someone with expereince. NOT ME!
> "Make sure BEFORE you list on Flippa you can’t be found in search engines, or you’ll have problems selling." < Can you explain?
> Incentivize the BIN price?? < Is there some instructional material on flippa that you would recommend? Something explaing the auction and bidding process.
Great Post, thank you for the information! I do have a Couple of Questions:
> Twice you say for newbies to use PLR for their first sites. How is done without the rath of Google coming down on a site? I'm new and not that well versed on just how to do this. Are there any reports or products detailing this for the purpose of building and flipping small sites? (1) Make sure BEFORE you list on Flippa you can’t be found in search engines, or you’ll have problems selling.
(2) * Unique is good – unique content, unique design etc, adds a lot of value to buyers. You can even re-write quality PLR to make this easier.
I was under the impression that with the new Panda Rules in effect, that that was the BIG NO-NO!
> Just how are we to disguise or hide the fact that we have purchased a site at DP. You say this is not good but don't say how to avoid this. - "Make sure BEFORE you list on Flippa you can’t be found in search engines, or you’ll have problems selling."
> Do you have a template of the NDA that you use or you know of one that I could use?
Thank you, alex44
From within your post:
"* Do some keyword research, find a good niche, get a domain, throw up some articles (tons of tutorials in the adsense section)"
Where exactly is this adesnse section? Can't find it.
Thanks, alex44
