I know many of us have made money through affiliate programs where we participated in. Now choosing between the Commission Junction and Clickbank which is better between the two and why?

Re: Better between the two
Clickbank, it has better paying product, and a bigger choice of product on any niche.
I've no experience with CJ (Commission Junction), but I know they owe about $600 to a guy (he's honest, only whitehat), so I would go with CB rather than CJ if I were in your position.

Re: Better between the two
Well I don't have a commission junction account yet so i am currently using click bank. What i like about click bank so far is that they have a wider choice of products and services to push at the same time I haven't encountered problems with them and if ever i did I am confident that it would be resolved at once.

Re: Better between the two
I'm gonna go against what most people say here and go with CJ. Clickbank is what EVERYONE is using, so almost all the products that are worth promoting are going to be competitive. I tried Clickbank for like a year straight when I first started and could barely even hit the 1k per month mark. Eventually I said screw it and I started selling all of my Clickbank affiliate sites and moving onto other ways of monetization like Amazon and Adsense.
Another thing that sucks about Clickbank is you have to pre-sell people on these products that quite honestly mostly suck. It's much harder to convert someone to buy some digital ebook on how to get a 6 pack, than it is to sell someone on an ab machine that they are actively searching for already. The key obviously is to target someone who is searching for ab machines.
What's different about CJ is there's so many merchants, that all you have to do is pick one, and then pick a certain product they carry, and build a site around it. You would apply the same principles as if you were building a micro niche site for Adsense, but instead of Adsense, you're monetizing with the CJ merchant's affiliate links.

Re: Better between the two
I would go with Clickbank first if you are a beginner. CJ can be a bit confusing at times for beginners. Clickbank is pretty straight forward and you can usually promote something within any niche that you want.

Re: Better between the two
I say everyone here has missed the main point and rule #1 in marketing/sales....
Don't tell you people what they want, let them tell you!
Testing will tell you which is better (CJ or CB) depending on the market, demographic and other things...you cannot guess at something like this, and generalizations just don't cut it here.
TEST TEST TEST!!!
