FP - Cool Offline CPA Method

Hey guys,

This is an old method but it definitely works. It takes some time and some up front cost but it'll definitely pay off.

find a CPA offer for something cool like an iPad or free textbooks, etc. and then set up a domain to redirect to the offer to track your sales.

Once you have all of this, get some flyers with little tear off things on the bottom with the domain name and a small bit of info like "free ipad".

Put the flyers up around college campuses for max conversions (myself being a college student, i know my peers would fall for it). leave flyers everywhere you could imagine. hopefully people will see them more than once and begin to trust the flyer more! Put up 100 flyers with 10 tear offs and that's 1000 possible conversions. let's say 500 people take the tear offs, that's $500 in CPA conversions... and college students love to do shit with their friends so you might even get people who share the tear off with 3-4 friends!

Good method, here are some additional tips...Nobody wants to pull a tab off of something that has all tabs still on it, even if it looks brand new. Tear 3-5 off in random places and make 20 strips (double them up as they only need to be two lines)....Now you have 15 possibles per sheet and it looks popular!

Also tip number two is that to create these, you do not need to be a genius, justa little bit of copy training and Microsoft Word. I attached an example. When creating a new document, select templates over to the left, I believe the one you want is called: Flyers, then select Marketing Flyers and it is the one that looks like the attached version below.

The last tip is to always put the info(URL) on the main sheet and not just the strips. I have stood and watched from afar as students came to the board between classes tore up my flyer strips and then started grabbing their pens and paper Thats a job well done. Of course there are MANY other tips out there, so lets hear 'em!!!

its virtually one of the cheapest startup investing forms of adverts...go to kinko's and print out hundreds for 20 bucks...pass them/post them yourself, and pick up phone numbers of hot college chicks while you are out and about. But "might" won't get it done, just sayin'

Well, "maybe" I will tell you a secret and it "might" stick


Language has everything to do with:

1. determining who is a "doer"
2. determining who is a "talker"


Because it is written, the words "might" and "maybe" really mean that you have considered for one reason or another, BUT you didn't follow through. If you are wondering why there is success lately, please do a reevaluation of your "just did it" skills. Meaning how often do you happen upon something and then you "just do it"???


I want you to do it, it will make you feel great and you will go far, even if your first few ideas don't work out so well. The catch is, this one is proven to work from countless sources, meaning if you aren't doing it and you feel like crap, it is your own damn fault!!!

I say this from personal experience guys and gals...get out there and get it done already. "Get what done?" ANYTHING! At least if you fail, it will be a learning experience to perfect the art of something much greater than any single person!


So Trillerkiller, change might into "On (insert date) I will go to kinkos and get it done." And then do it, like if you didn't get it done, you wouldn't be able to breathe anymore.

And SusieQ, see the above comment for TrillerKiller to get an idea of what your words should be, if you're serious. And lose the "maybe, baby"

OK, newbie question here! Wouldn't this method work as well with a free blog? Create a blog with the cpa offer on it, cloak the link at your favorite link cloaker/tracking site and use that link on the flyer? My thoughts are that it would lower the initial expense a little bit. Your thoughts?

One is limited only by their imagination.

The best way to know if what you think might work will work is to test it. Put up a free blog and make your cloaked link. Test it out and see what happens. What do you have to lose?

This is a great idea, and should work with any CPA offer, you just need to adapt it to your audience.

For example you could hand out flyers at sporting events, in the car park of shopping centres, you could tie it in with a charity (give a % of profits to a charity) and get local business to display them for you.
