Go meet each otherBe great friends, and JXiiXV , don't forget to meet the friends of Imontie! (female ofc!)
@springer: Man that's crazy you used to live so close. Do you ever come back out this way?
@Luka: You ain't kiddin, I saw the pic in that other thread haha. Definitely some good lookin girls. We'll have to organize a mastermind and invite those females. Once I tell them I have an SE Nuke and Scrapebox license, it's game over. That pickup line works every time.![]()
HAHAHAHA. I should have been more clear. Please alow me to clarify: I was outside already, handing out "tickets" in high traffic entrance/exit areas. This also includes malls etc. All I would say is "free tickets" and voila! I was dubbed by a friend the "part time greeter, no body wants"![]()
The nifty part is, nobody turned away from free tickets propostition and I got lots of traffic before i was asked nicely to leave. This book card stuffing idea is doable, but you WILL have to be sneaky sneaky.
And Springer, I will take you up on the discreet training, and then get us some beer. I was always the guns blazin' type![]()
lmfao "once i tell them i have a scrapebox and xrumer license.. it's over"

I've done this with business cards when I was in the mortgage business... putting my BC in the books that were about Real Estate and financing.
It works well and if you walk in the store wearing a 1500.00 suit, nobody thinks you are doing anything improper.
Guess that means this method would be saturated in Chicago? . How about having cards printed and make them look official rather than scammy. Then speak to the book store owners or pay some kids to insert in the books perhaps on a commison basis they can be pretty imaginative when money is at stake. Maybe even in appropriate books in a library as well.
Cool Idea!
I also think 3x5 size would be best. That size easy to discretely carry a bunch in hip or coat pocket then slip one in a book while holding it below the shelf to minimize chance of a clerk seeing you. Might also help to choose a book early on and keep it with you as you hit other books, make it look like you've chosen one to purchase and are looking for more.
Sure would be nice if iMontie (and others?) shared images of successful cards or flyers for design ideas? We're all located far enough apart that it wouldn't hurt anyone's success.
Thanks!
