FP - Buying Amazon Store Sites?

If a person wanted to buy an Amazon store site is that something that is out there?

I wouldn't mind buying one that was making some cash but not setting the world on fire and SEOing that puppy to page 1. spots 1 - 3 and turning it into a winner.

I don't care if it is a real hard KW to rank but I would like it to be a higher ticket item(s) that is sold on that store site.

Yep! They love that kinda stuff over at WF, so I'm sure you could pick up a bunch pretty cheap. DP might even be an option as well, but that tends to be best for micro-niche type sites.

Was on a webinar a few days ago, and Chris Guthrie (Niche Profit Course), revealed that he sold a website, n e t b o o k r e v i e w s.com, for a cool 100grand.

He admited that the domain name alone cost him about 2grand, and he took about a year to build it up (also involved going to a few trade shows to see the newest netbooks availble, in order to make good product reviews), but thats not too much work, is it?

The site was monetized with Amazon.

Seeing the viability of this model, I am looking into it at the moment.

Any thots, guys??

Thanks, Thomas isn't Digital Point little too crowded with fakes now or its just my feeling. Also Thomas what valuation formula/method i.e.How many times (*) revenues the selling or buying price point should be. (6months, 1yrs,2yrs of the revenue) any thoughts on that.
