Create a product or service that genuinely addresses a problem/need. Thinking big is good, but sometimes thinking 'small' is far more lucrative...think of the guys that invented cats-eyes (for roads), pull-tabs for coke cans, velcro, zippers etc etc. Simple products that made their creators mega-bucks because they solved a need and became ubiquitous.
There are no stupid questions. If you don't know something, then ask someone who does!
Have fun.Choose something form of online money making that you enjoy because that will motivate you to more or be more active in what you are doing.Choosing something that isn't fun for you could end up making you lose motivation.

Be willing to reinvest a portion of what you earn back into your business. In fact, for the first few years, if you can, roll it all back in. There is incredible power in compounding and your business will grow exponentially.
There is no place else on earth, outside the innerwebs, where you can invest as little as $10 and some time and earn back 10 fold+ your very first day. Use that money to expand your business by 10 times.

Nothing personal but .. this is probably the worst suggestion that I've heard in a long time.
DREAM big - sure. Set big GOALS - sure. But as far as doing goes - just do! Big or small, do!
"Do it big or don't do it at all" is how most people think. And that's probably one of the main reasons why most people are on 9-5, doing things that they hate, reporting to a boss that they hate even more and if they're lucky then they make just about enough money to pay their mortgage and feed their families.
