FP - Ezine Articles Theory - Did anyone try this?

Well Ezine Articles is the biggest article-directory there is, but people are having issues to get tons of traffic from it, and views to the article, since you are competing against many.

But I just got a thought in mind that I had 1 week ago, and many times before, but never thought clearly about it.

Doing bit of keyword research, writing an article for that keyword , so it is seo-optimized , and then publishing to Ezine...

Once approved, do a big Xrumer blast or backlink blast (SEO basically) for the keyword, and your article should rank way more easier than for your site (Since Ezine is big)..... and you'll get tons of views, and also visitors!

Depending on your keyword term, it shouldn't take that many links to get it to rank. You're right about the ranking power of EZA and few authors actually build links to their articles, once published.

This is bum marketing and it STILL works.

I've got approximately 20 (out of 60) EZA articles in a health niche dominating the top positions in Google and making me a few hundreds bucks per month on autopilot for almost 6 months now.

The link in the resource box is an affiliate domain redirect. I don't even have a landing page.

1) Do your keyword research (don't be afraid to go for competitive keywords as EZA is big and Google likes it)
2) Spend some time writing some quality articles that sell (or outsource it)
3) Don't play with several keywords ONLY, test as many as possible in that niche!
4) Aggressive backlinking (xrumer, scrapebox, etc) - use all your arsenal!
5) Rinse and repeat in a different niche.

Don't waste your time. Most of those article directories have little to no traffic and even if you are getting some traffic it's webmasters checking your links before approving the article.

I, on the other hand, recommend using Article Marketing Robot for massive backlinking of your EZA articles.

So basically this is the third tool you need to succeed using this method.

So far we have Xrumer, ScrapeBox, AMR. Any other major tools that can be used for aggressively backlinking these articles?

I have a few articles at Ezine but I mostly did them to get the backlinks to my site. I get about 1 or 2 clicks to my website from them.

This is a really good tip. I have an older program called Article Post Robot which I guess is similar to AMR and that will submit to numerous article directories but I never thought to use it to link back to my EZA articles.

I've been posting the EZA links to my twitter accounts. They get the views and can push the article into the top 10 for more links and clicks but I like your idea for long term ranking of the article.

Yeah this is just article marketing. As someone else mentioned it's the foundation of bum marketing.

It's a time tested method that definitely still works. Basically it's a really solid promotion method that really isn't subject to saturation, so it'll probably continue working for a long time.

The best way I found with EZA is to not try and target keywords as such as that tends to get their hackles up some what. Just write a really good informative article and use the power of the backlinks from EZA to build authority to your site.The best way to get traffic from EZA is to be an authority in your niche and not just target keywords at random. So if your site is about hamsters write several articles about hamsters and you become the authority and all hamster articles come to the top when searched for.
