FP - How and why did you get into flipping?

I got into flipping just recently as it's easily done on the move and I have always wanted to get into internet business's. I feel that flipping has obviously gained interest all over the world and there is mass's of room for everyone to do well at it.

I belive that this is the right moment to get involved...

When and how did you get involved and what get's you ticking?

I have tried all sorts of business's on the internet. I do have a very successful internet business selling a particular product. However, I still went looking for something else. I tried purchasing autoblogs and various other websites and reliased one thing...you have to find the glove that fits the hand. I had failed at a lot of attempts and trying to get into internet marketing is so damn hard and it really did to suit my personality. So I decided, without knowing Flippa even existed, to start to look at buying and selling websites. To cut a long story short, I found Flippa and purchased a bag of web sites in one transaction. I have been lucky in terms of the guy who sold me the web sites is very supportive and genuine. So with his help, I have been selling these sites at a reasonable profit. It has also generated additional business with some web site development and I have established a hosting reseller account. What I have found...by over delivering...being honest and professional...I am getting some great feedback and a lot of business without using Flippa.

Cool! Sounds really interesting and thank you for sharing your personal experince. I think when more people share these kind of stories it will make it easier for others to see the light and truely know's what out there to be had.

Thanks Mr Flipper. I forgot to add another side to my story. My first foray into flippa was not a good one. I purchased a web site (auto blog) and the support the seller provided after the sale was woeful. In fact the site itself is not up at the moment as it has crashed due to his lack of support. I disputed the sale but it did not get anywhere. This was another nudge I received to head in the direction of flipping web sites. I don't like being treated the way I was treated so it got me thinking.

If I could sell wesites and offer the type of support I would like then to have then what would happen? Well my foray into selling websites has been very positive. I provide excellent customer support, I over deliver and my feed back from my customers has been excellent. I am now being approached by customers to develop web sites outside of Flippa.

I suppose what I am trying to say is this

1. Don't trust everyone on Flippa or any other selling site for that matter...tread carefully...but once you have found someone you can trust then stick with them
2. Please provide a great service to your customer...please!!!
3. The higher your reputation...the more business you will get...it is a win-win situation.
