FP - iam about to buy a site .. need some help

iam about to buy a website .. and the seller allready said that he wants to sell it to me ..


i checked the site on various analysis sites.. and one thing that gets me confused and suspicious .. is that information :

Dublicate content

What We Found: google thinks you have duplicate content

Effect on Traffic: Moderate to High. Smaller infractions of duplicate content, like the www redirect (the one we're looking for here) can have a moderate impact on traffic. You may see after doing the proper 301 redirect from www to non-www (or vice versa) will result in moderately better rankings. Actual duplicate content, where you post the exact content on two different websites for instance, have a much higher impact. It is highly likely only one of those sites will rank with the content, and a small chance that both will not rank at all. Avoid duplicate content!


as when u type in www.sitename.com
the url jumps automaticaly to .sitename.com


is this bad.. and a nogo .. ?

Sounds like you just need to do a proper 301 redirect and choose one to promote (www. or not)

allright before i purchase the site at the negotioated price wich is 500 euros .. i would like to know some pros opinion .. if it is overvalued.. due to lack of expirience in that field ..

what is the monthly traffic on each keyword?

Do you have screen shots of the revenue and traffic? Not AW stats but Google Analytics

what is the monetization method?

What are things you can do right away to improve value to the site to sell for a premium immediately?

Is this a trusted seller source? Verified feedback or do you know him?

These should get you started on the important things

Price seems high for a flip deal...

Typically finding a site worth 3-5 times monthly revenue then selling for 10x is a winner in my book. So the math would be no more than $75 x 5 months = 375 USD...about a third of what you are paying in EUR.
