FP - Any tips for buying expired domains?

I was poking around at potential expired domains and I must say this looks fairly lucrative to me...

Can anyone offer up some advice on how to purchase an expired domain.

I have a scrape box add-on that is super cool called the TDNAM scraper... It locates expired domains related to whatever KW you punch in.

So, I found a domain, then hopped over to godaddy and to make the purchase... No surprise, godaddy jacked the price up a few bucks from what TDNAM says and they say the domain expires tomorrow. Does this mean I gain possession of the domain tomorrow if I fork out the bucks now on godaddy?

    Hi!

So of this has been discussed at GoDaddy Auctions and 'Have I Won'?

Check out that thread, if it it doesn't quite cover your questions, then post there or back here with what's still missing and we'll do our best to help!

I prefer to go old school and use sedo.com when going after domains. I'm sure there are a ton of places out there by now that offer the same services...perhaps we should compile a list?

I have used domain samurai to locate expired domains in the past and when they say $69 for the domain I go to the registrar of choice and buy it at the regular price. I am using the free version of DS by the way
