FP - Who Has Free Domain Transfering?

I have a few domains coming up that need to be renewed over at Netfirms.

Are there any registrars currently doing free domain transferring?

I haven't heard of anyone doing it for free as I'm pretty sure the cost of transferring it includes renewing your registration for a year. Namecheap had a special going on last month to get people to change from Godaddy to Namecheap for $4.50 per domain. That includes one year of domain registration. It also included free whois privacy guard. I'm sure that special is gone but you can find coupons by doing a google search.

if you try internet.bs, they will add 12 months to the expiration date... in your case, it probably doesn't matter..... but they also offer free private registration... and, their domain renewal fees are some of the lowest I've seen.....

I've heard of them , but have never made any purchases with them in the past.

Unless i'm buying a 99 cent special from Godaddy (which I don't care for much) I normally just buy from Netfirms(who's back end system transition has been utterly annoying...)

There's no visible phone number either.

I can see they've been in the industry for 10+ years, but I swear I hate companies who are difficult to reach (especially after they have my money!)
