He promised me he has closed all his auctions and is going to find his way back on the wagon. I am talking to him now.

He is *trying* to work on his lying problem. Here is his original listing:

Here is is new (now canceled one):

So he took out the # of users which he admitted was false. I will talk to him and try and get him back on track. Like any addict, he is a work in progress.
I don't think omitting one lie is much progress, given all the other obvious lies in the listings.
Why is it that you will hunt some scammers to the ends of the Earth and post all sorts of public information about them, but you basically give this guy a pass? It's up to you if you want to waste your time trying to save this con artist, but it doesn't make sense to me. I personally think he belongs in jail, and your attempt to paint him as an addict who deserves our sympathy is not helping anyone.
There is more progress than omitting one lie. And, as you can see he did cancel his listings -- so he is still listening.
I treat all scammers the same; I give them a chance to come clean and admit they have been lying and attempting to scam people and a chance to change course. For those who take that option, like Kevin has, I assist them in that transition. For those who refuse to admit their ways and continue on the same path the only way left to help is to make sure they're so exposed that they simply cannot continue scamming.
Kevin doesn't have a pass. He is being held accountable for his actions.
He cancelled them after I caught him up to his old tricks. He listed multiple scam auctions before you got in touch with him.
What about those who admit their scams and continue to attempt to swindle people? Not everyone can be saved, or wants to be, and admitting past transgressions shouldn't let someone off the hook.I treat all scammers the same; I give them a chance to come clean and admit they have been lying and attempting to scam people and a chance to change course. By whom? Flippa doesn't care, he doesn't listen to you, and the police won't do anything about him.Kevin doesn't have a pass. He is being held accountable for his actions.
I don't know anything about this guy, but his idea is pretty creative.
